24-Hour Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

At Thera-Speech, PLLC, we value your time and ours. To ensure smooth scheduling and fairness to all clients, we require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Late Cancellation or Missed Appointment

• Appointments canceled, missed, or changed without 24-hour notice will be charged in full (100% of the session fee).
• This fee may be deducted from your package or billed separately.

Reminders & Responsibility

• Appointment reminders are sent via email and/or text the day before.
• However, you are responsible for keeping track of your appointments.
• Not receiving a reminder is not an excuse for a missed session if you originally received confirmation.

How to Cancel or Reschedule Without a Fee

You can make changes anytime by:

• Clicking the link in your confirmation email
• Logging into your online account
• Replying to your confirmation email
• Calling the number provided in your email

Emergency Consideration

• Emergencies are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
• You must submit a written request within 7 days to be considered for a fee waiver.
• We will respond in writing within 7 business days.

Special Circumstances

• No charges will apply for cancellations due to power outages, severe weather, or other uncontrollable events.
• We will help reschedule such appointments at no cost.

Late Arrival Policy

• Arriving late reduces your session time.
• Sessions will not be extended into the next client’s time.
• Staff may be 10–15 minutes late depending on shift changes; if more than 5 minutes late, we will call you.

Our Commitment

If we must cancel your session with less than 24 hours’ notice, we will extend or adjust your schedule accordingly.

This policy helps us serve all clients efficiently, especially those on our waitlist. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Client Agreement

This agreement is between Thera-Speech, PLLC (Natashi Williams, Owner) and

1. Services Provided

Thera-Speech, PLLC will provide accent modification and/or corporate speech therapy services via an online platform. The client agrees to have high-speed internet access and a compatible account.

Late arrivals beyond 15 minutes are considered No Call/No Show. Sessions missed or shortened due to lateness will not be extended. Cancellations require 24-hour notice via call or email. Three (3) missed sessions without notice may result in dismissal from the program.

2. Payment Terms

• Rate: $200/session
• Duration: 7 or 12 weeks (accent modification) or 10 weeks (corporate speech therapy)
• Initial payment covers Weeks 1 & 2. Future sessions are billed in 2-week blocks.
• Full balance must be paid before the final 2 sessions.

Additional sessions or services not included in the plan will be billed at $200 per session.

3. Termination

This agreement ends after your last scheduled session (week 7, 10, or 12, depending on the program).

4. Independent Contractor

Thera-Speech, PLLC is an independent contractor. The client will not provide benefits such as insurance, vacation, or employee perks.

5. Client Responsibilities

Daily practice is required for progress. Practice may include online or printed tasks.

6. Confidentiality

Thera-Speech, PLLC agrees to keep all client information confidential, even after services end.

7. Employees & Assignment

Any Thera-Speech staff involved will also follow this agreement. Services cannot be transferred without the client’s written consent.

8. Legal Terms

• If any part of this agreement is invalid, the rest remains in effect.
• Changes must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
• Notices must be sent via certified mail to the addresses listed.
• This agreement is governed by North Carolina law.

Non-Clinical Service Disclosure Statement

As an individual seeking improvement with communication skills, it is important to note that Accent Modification and Corporate Speech Therapy consulting services at Thera-Speech, PLLC are provided outside of a clinical environment. Thera-Speech, PLLC acknowledges the non-clinical nature of the services being provided.

(The Client) is not receiving treatment for a disordered condition and is not receiving therapy or therapeutic services by participating in Accent Modification and/or Corporate Speech Therapy instruction.
